01. First Meet

As I walked towards my car, reaching for the door handle, I settled into my car and started the engine. While driving along the road, I noticed an elderly lady in tattered clothes, her frail body hunched over from the winter's chill. Her eyes displayed a mix of fear and desperation.

She stood there, waiting for someone to help her cross the road, trembling in her weakened state, afraid to navigate the slippery path.

People passed by without sparing her a single glance.

Shameless individuals.

I parked the car to the side and stepped out, intending to approach the old lady. But before I could reach her, a girl took hold of her hand.

"Granny, you shouldn't have come out. It's freezing cold," she uttered softly, her grip on the old lady's hand filled with tenderness.

"Alright, do you want to cross the road?" she gently inquired, her voice like a sweet melody.

Her long bangs fell gracefully over her delicate face, accentuating her adorable features - pink lips, dark brown eyes, and thick, luscious dark brown hair. Her cheeks, plump and rosy.

For the first time, my heart experienced such emotions. My gaze fixated on her face; I longed to hold her in my arms. My heart raced, and I wasted no time in approaching them.

"Yes," the old lady replied.

I took hold of the granny's hand and said, "Allow me to assist you, granny."

"Thank you, dear," she gratefully murmured as we guided her across the road.

I turned to the girl and expressed my gratitude, "Thank you for helping granny."

She smiled and responded, "You're welcome."

"Granny, let me give you a ride in my car," I offered, opening the door for her.

She waved at us, leaving us with her beautiful smile.

Breathtaking.

I seated myself in the car and dropped off granny at her home, where her family awaited her safe return.

I then proceeded towards my college, stopping the car as I arrived. I slung my bag over my shoulder, dressed in brown pants and a loose black t-shirt.

As per usual, girls flocked around me, attempting to entice me. I couldn't even keep track of how many of them had shared my bed.

Amidst the crowd, I caught sight of the same face, the one with that breathtakingly beautiful smile.

I began moving towards her, but another girl blocked my path and said, "Hey, op--"

I gently moved her aside, searching for the girl, but she had disappeared. I continued my search, yet the other girl persisted in following me.

"Oppa, who are you looking for?" she asked, standing in front of me.

She was nothing more than a seductive temptress. Irritated, I tried to leave, but she held onto my hand. "Release me, before I lose my temper."

I demanded, forcefully pulling my hand away. "Where are you, my lady?"

Searching for her, I heard the sound of bells. I sighed and made my way to class, placing my bag beside me as the girls fought amongst themselves for the coveted spot next to me.

My best friend, like an older brother to me and only two years my senior, sat down beside me. "Jimin hyung."

"Did you witness those girls fighting?" he asked, gesturing towards the commotion.

"One day, they'll end up killing each other, yet they still fail to capture my attention," I replied nonchalantly, focusing on my book.

I saw the teacher enter with a girl, and suddenly, my breath hitched as I saw the same face, her expression filled with nervousness.

My eyes remained fixated on her as my friend nudged me.

"My name is Y/N," she uttered softly.

As she introduced herself, "Oh, y/n."

I couldn't help but smile, for she possessed such a truly sweet name.

"Umm, please have a seat," my teacher scrambled to find an empty spot.

"Hyung, please stand up and move to the back," he urged, staring directly at me.

"Hyung, stop staring and go," I commanded, rising from my seat to make way for her.

"Sir, she can sit here," I declared, breaking the gaze of the entire class.

The teacher nodded in agreement, and she gracefully walked towards my seat. However, girls will always be girls. Another girl intentionally obstructed her path, placing her leg in between as she took her seat beside me.

"Ah, we meet again," I uttered, a smile spreading across my face as she returned it with a nod.

I stretched out my hand, extending an invitation for a handshake. "I am Jungkook."

She delicately placed her hand in mine, allowing our fingers to intertwine.

"Do I appear as an extraterrestrial being to you?" she inquired, a hint of curiosity in her voice.

I shook my head, reassured her, and says, "Why is everyone staring at you in such a manner?"

Her voice carried a touch of melancholy, and I couldn't help but laugh gently. "Just focus on the class," I advised.

I glanced around the room, giving death glares to the others. Everyone promptly averted their gaze, their attention redirected towards their books or the board. And so, we redirected our focus to the class as well.

Once the class ended, she began packing her belongings. Such a kind and adorable girl. I prepared to leave, but something compelled me to pause and inquire, "Y/n, where do you reside?"

She responded, "I stay at the university hostel."

I nodded, silently expressing my gratitude that destiny had sent her to this place and not elsewhere.

She left the class soon after.

As I was about to depart as well, the same girl from earlier approached me and grabbed hold of my hand. I was taken aback and questioned, "What do you want?"

She raised her eyebrow, her eyes filled with both confusion and frustration. "Have you forgotten? We were together last night, and you're acting as if you don't even know me."

I couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Who are you? I don't even know your name, let alone remember how many girls I spent the night with."

Just as she was about to slap me, I swiftly grabbed her hand and jerked it away, delivering a firm slap across her face. Her expression changed abruptly.

"Never dare to try that again," I commanded, my words laced with determination, before storming out of the classroom.

At the gate, I spotted y/n standing alone, patiently waiting for someone.

"Are you waiting for someone?" I asked, my voice laced with curiosity.

She nodded, confirming my suspicion.

"Would you mind joining me for a cup of coffee?" I proposed, her response lingering in the air for a brief moment before she nodded in agreement.

Together, we entered the quaint little café, where I approached the counter and ordered my usual cup of coffee. As for her, she requested a delightful chocolate smoothie.

With our drinks in hand, we settled into a cozy corner of the café, engaging in conversation. I discovered just how incredibly sweet she was. Oh, dear heavens... What is happening to my heart?

With each sweet giggle and every enchanting smile, my heart felt as though it would burst with emotion.

"I love you," I confessed, locking eyes with her as she coyly chewed on her straw. "W-what?" she stuttered in disbelief.

"I love you," I repeated, my voice unwavering.

"Wait... We only just met a short while ago," she exclaimed, rising from her seat, ready to leave. However, I swiftly grasped her delicate wrist.

"I love you, and I will continue to do so until the day you reciprocate those feelings," I declared, a warm smile gracing my lips.

She tried to yank her hand away, but I held on firmly, pulling her closer to me. "Miss y/n, you belong to me."

Finally, I released my grip on her wrist, allowing her to depart. And so, she left the café, leaving me to contemplate what fate had in store for us next.
